Kettle Valley Rail

We offer a unique 1 1/2 hour journey on one of British Columbia's few remaining fully operational steam railways. Friendly, informative guides bring the railways history alive as our 1924 Shay#3 Locomotive chugs along hillsides overlooking beautiful Okanagan orchards and vineyards. Our facilities are wheelchair accessible. Group bookings and charters are welcome.

Visit www.kettlevalleyrail.org for information.

Ski Areas

Only 1 ½ hours away, just north of Kamloops is the wonderful Sun Peaks ski resort. Imagine seemingly endless mountain vistas and plentiful snowfall. A place where the skiing terrain ranges from long, lazy cruising runs which go on forever to heart-stopping descents which border on the extreme. Luxurious lodging, a fine array of dining, night life and apres-ski options combine to make a perfect skiing vacation.
