This section of my website has been the most difficult for me. I couldn’t think of what I could put that would be both beneficial and interesting to my readers. I thought that you might like to know how and why I arrived at a real estate career. In 1985 I was working for the US Airforce in Athens Greece (my native country) as a Greek national. Even as a civilian in the military you are exposed to pretty much the same demands as the enlisted personnel. I have to say I got a crash course in discipline, protocol, responsibility and did I mention discipline!!

After 3 years I decided it was time to return to Canada and promptly got a position with the Federal government in Toronto with the New Employment Equity Program. After the military, a Canadian Federal Job seemed like a vacation. I did gain a great deal of experience and skills, however.

One thought that prevailed through and through was that I clearly should be working for myself. But what??!! It seemed that I thought of nothing else but finding a suitable business idea. I must have thought of a hundred possibilities but I knew none was the right match. I was not about to give up. I was a believer of "seek and you shall find, ask and you shall be answered".

Well, I did continue to seek until my head was too tired to think. While having lunch one day my colleague recognized the restaurant owner and caught up on things. I was enjoying my lunch and half listening to their conversation. My friend asked about his sister, he explained that she had just signed up for the Real Estate Program. It was at this very moment that I knew I had found my career.

I was licensed in 1988 and have never looked back. Real Estate has been hard work, long hours, exciting, challenging, educational and, first & foremost, extremely satisfying.
