About Amberlina

 

Amberlina is designed by South Florida native, Amber Leigh Vazquez. Raised in Fort Lauderdale, she is an award-winning graduate of Miami International University of Art and Design (formerly known as International Fine Arts College). She has more than seven years experience in the fashion industry, specifically in retail, fashion show production, and fashion styling. Her inspirations range from classic Hollywood movies and Pre-Raphaelite art to the diverse cultures and lush, tropical landscapes of South Florida that surround her.

 

Amberlina's designs are a celebration of life, earth and spirituality. She creates feminine silhouettes through the use of both natural and synthetic fabrics such as Satin, Charmeuse, Peau de Soie, Taffeta, Chiffon, Organza, Lace, and more. From concept to creation, all of the designs are produced in South Florida by Amberlina herself along with a team of expert patternmakers and seamstresses.

 

Amberlina believes that fashion can and does have a soul, and that uplifting the spirits of others is always in style. She is committed to practicing love and kindness toward all living things, and effectively helping those in need. For this reason, 10% of all company gross profits are consistently donated to Aura’s House, a small, nonprofit organization with which she is closely involved.
